2 Shot In Coney Island, Local High School Goes Into Lockdown: NYPD
Police said there is no known motive for the attack yet.

BROOKLYN, NY — Two people were shot in Coney Island on Thursday afternoon, causing a nearby high school to go into lockdown, New York City Police Department officials said.
One man, 32, was shot in the right hand, and a woman, 22, was shot in the buttocks near 2940 West 31st St. at 12:26 p.m., police said.
After the shooting, the four perpetrators ran by William E Grady CTE High School, causing the school to go on lockdown until the group was caught and arrested by the NYPD, officials said.

Police said there is no known motive for the attack yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
Both victims were taken to area hospitals and are expected to survive, police said.
