4-Year-Old Boy Killed In NYC Hit-And-Run Crash: NYPD

The boy was in the crosswalk when he was struck by a Ford Explorer SUV, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 4-year-old boy was struck and killed by an SUV driver in Brooklyn on Thursday.

The incident happened around 1:20 p.m. at the intersection of Linden Boulevard and Rockaway Parkway.

The boy was in the crosswalk when he was struck by a Ford Explorer SUV, police said.

The 4-year-old was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the SUV did not stop and fled the scene.
