7-Car Collision Sends 16 To Hospitals In Brooklyn
All of the people who were injured were taken to Lutheran Medical Center, Maimonides Medical Center and Coney Island Hospital.

BROOKLYN, NY — Seven cars crashed near the intersection of Ocean Parkway and Avenue V at 12:27 p.m. on Monday, injuring 16 people, New York City Police Department officials said.
All of the people who were injured were taken to Lutheran Medical Center, Maimonides Medical Center, and Coney Island Hospital and are expected to recover, police said.
Officers did not witness the crash in person but saw security camera footage from a nearby homeowner showing that a speeding car traveling southbound on Ocean Parkway rear-ended another car, setting off a chain reaction that damaged six other cars, police said.
