G Service Suspended After Person Is Struck By Train

BROOKLYN, NY— A person was struck by a train at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station in Brooklyn, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

G train service is suspended in both directions between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Church Avenue.

Riders traveling between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Church Avenue should expect delays and may need to find alternate routes while service remains suspended.

Riders can use A, C and F trains, along with connecting bus service, to bypass the suspended stretch of the G line.

The MTA has not provided additional details about what led to the incident or when service will resume. Further details about the person's condition were not immediately provided.
