Three Teenagers Killed In Brooklyn Crash

BROOKLYN, NY— Three teenagers were killed and four other people were injured late Tuesday night when a Cadillac Escalade carrying five teens collided with a Honda HR-V on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn, police said.

The crash happened about 11:35 p.m. as both vehicles traveled eastbound near 65th Street in Bay Ridge.

Three males inside the Escalade, ages 16, 17 and 18, were taken to NYU Langone Hospital in critical condition. All three later died from their injuries, according to police.

It was not immediately clear which of the teenagers was driving the Escalade.

The Honda carried two women, a 46-year-old driver and a 44-year-old passenger. Both women were injured in the collision, police said.

Police did not immediately provide further details about their conditions.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
