Armed Robbers Posing As Cleaning Crew Hit Brooklyn Home: NYPD
A group of thieves posed as a cleaning crew to steal more than $100,000 worth of jewelry and other items from a Brooklyn home.

BROOKLYN, NY — A group of thieves posed as a cleaning crew to steal a whopping $122,000 worth of jewelry and other items from a Brooklyn home last week, the New York Police Department said.
A group of armed robbers forced their way into an East New York home near Vandalia and Fountain avenues just after 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 13, after a woman knocked claiming to be from a cleaning company, police said.
According to investigators, the suspects headed directly to a bedroom after getting inside, where they grabbed high-end jewelry worth roughly $118,000, as well as a purse, wallets and credit cards. Authorities estimate the total loss at approximately $;122,000.

No injuries were reported.
The three suspects fled the scene on foot, heading south along Fountain Avenue toward Seaview Avenue, and remain at large, police said.

The first suspect is described as a woman last seen wearing a black jacket over a white T-shirt, black pants, a black hat and black sneakers. The second, a man, was spotted in a dark-colored jacket and matching hat. The third, also a man, was wearing a multicolored blue sweatshirt, dark pants and black sneakers, authorities added.
The motive for the robbery remains unknown, and police say the investigation is ongoing.
