Baby Shot And Killed On NYC Street Identified, 1 Suspect Remains At Large
The driver of the moped is still at large.
BROOKLYN, NY —Police have identified a 7-month-old baby who was shot and killed on a Brooklyn street on Wednesday.
Kaori Patterson-Moore was fatally shot on the corner of Humboldt and Moore streets in Williamsburg around 1:25 p.m.
The baby's mother was pushing the baby in a stroller when two suspects on a moped rode up and the passenger pulled out a gun and opened fired, police said.

The mother ran inside a nearby bodega to escape the gunfire where she noticed the baby had been shot.
The baby was taken to a local hospital but later succumbed to its injuries and was pronounced dead.

The suspects fled the scene on the moped but crashed a few blocks away. The passenger was injured in the crash and taken to a local hospital. That individual has since been taken into custody.
The driver of the moped is still at large. No charges have been filed yet.
An investigation remains ongoing.
