ICYMI: Bonanno Mobster Pleads Guilty In One World Trade Center Fraud, Prosecutors Say
Bonanno affiliate "Vinny" Vertuccio hid control of Crimson Construction when it bid for a World Trade Center contract, prosecutors said.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — A Bonanno family associate who hid his mob ties to earn a construction contract with One World Trade Center has pleaded guilty to federal charges, prosecutors announced.
Vincent “Vinny” Vertuccio, 61, pleaded guilty Wednesday to hiding his connection to the Crimson Construction Corporation when it bid for a contract to work on One World Trade Center, Brooklyn federal prosecutors said.
Prosecutors maintain Vertuccio has longstanding connections to the Bonannos, a crime family of La Cosa Nostra.
