Boro Park Center & Sigma Announce Their Employee of the Year
504-Bed Borough Park Nursing & Rehab Facility & Brooklyn Leading Rehab Firms Selects a Highly-Respected Long-time Impactful Director

Boro Park Center, one of the largest and most respected skilled nursing facilities in Brooklyn, along with Brooklyn-based Sigma Health Rehab, has announced that Yisroel "Izzy" Pupko is the 2022 Employee of the Year.
Mr. Pupko is Boro Park Center's Assistant Director of Rehabilitation (ADOR) he has supported Director of Rehabilitation Jeff Grzybowski for ten years. As an employee of Boro Park Center since 2005, Mr. Pupko also makes sure that the progression that the therapists make for their residents is smooth and successful. "Izzy", as his staff calls him, works hard every day to develop relationships with the interdisciplinary team members and the individual members of the rehabilitation department.
"Izzy has played a key role at Boro Park Center's Rehab Department for a long time and both the staff and the residents love and admire him," said Mike Forzano, Vice President of Therapy Services for Sigma Health Rehab. "He has worked so well with Jeff Grzybowski and it shows that Boro Park Center's Rehab Department has become a blueprint to how a department like that should be run. Congratulations Izzy!"

Mr. Pupko's also has another key role as the facility's ADOR that calls for supporting his Director, Mr. Grzybowski, to maintain composure so as to prevent them from burning out. For the past 17 years, Izzy has demonstrated and is a model of growth potential to newer incoming post-acute care rehab leaders, whose management capabilities have become top-notch.
