Brooklyn Hit-And-Run Leaves Motorcyclist In Critical Condition: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — A hit-and-run left one motorcyclist critically injured in East Flatbush on Sunday, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, a 25-year-old man riding a 2023 Flywing moped was stopped at a traffic light at the corner of Albany Avenue and Farragut Road at 1:42 a.m. when he was struck by a driver in a grey Dodge Durango.

The 25-year-old was thrown from his moped, and sustained serious trauma to the head, police said.

The driver of the Dodge fled the scene, and emergency responders rushed the motorcyclist to New York City Health + Hospitals/ Kings County in critical condition, officials said.

No arrests have been made yet but the investigation is underway, police said.
