BROOKLYN, N.Y. — October 5, 2026 — The Brooklyn SciFi Film Festival (BSFFF) returns for its seventh season October 5–11, 2026, with four in-person screening events across Brooklyn and Queens and more than 200 independent science fiction films from 34 countries streaming online. This year's festival celebrates 60 years of Star Trek, launches a first-ever crossover with the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, and brings back the Sixth Borough anthology series with a new episode each night.

"We're shaking things up a bit this year trying new venues, partnerships, and a first-time collaboration with The Brooklyn Horror Film Fest for a fright-night crossover event. But our mission remains the same, providing a 'Big Tent' festival that welcomes diversity in sci-fi storytelling and encourages new voices in film," said Michael Brown, Executive Director of the Brooklyn SciFi Film Festival.
