Brooklyn Will Get 113 New Year's Day Babies, Study Predicts
The city will welcome about 317 new New Yorkers on New Year's Day, according to a UNICEF report.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- More than 100 babies will be born in Brooklyn on New Year's Day, according to new predictions.
Brooklyn is one of ten regions in the United States expected to get the most New Year's Day babies in 2019, according to a UNICEF report.
With 113 expected births, Kings County has the seventh largest number of expected babies for the New Year, analysts wrote. Los Angeles came in first with 351 New Years babies, Houston came second with 207 new babies and Chicago third with 184.

New York City might greet as many as 317 tiny new New Yorkers the day following the Times Square ball drop.
Many of those babies could be named Emma, Liam, William and Olivia, which are predicted to be some of the most popular baby names in 2019.

About 11,283 babies will be born in the United States and 395,072 babies will be born across the globe on New Year’s Day, UNICEF reported.
