Brooklyn Cyclones Host Jewish Celebration Day Featuring Holocaust Survivor Tribute

Event Details
The Brooklyn Cyclones will host a special Jewish Celebration Day on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Maimonides Park as they face off against the Frederick Keys.
In partnership with the Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island (JCCGCI), the event will extend beyond traditional festivities, featuring a meaningful tribute to the city’s Holocaust survivor community.
Ahead of the game, 18 Holocaust survivors will be honored on the field, each taking part in a ceremonial first pitch—offering a powerful moment of reflection, remembrance, and recognition of their strength and resilience.
Alongside in-game entertainment, the day will include a pre-game performance by Israeli-American Jewish hip-hop artist Kosha Dillz, an appearance by Dave from Old Jewish Men, and the annual on-field Hora at 1:20 PM—so come early and be ready to dance to “Hava Nagila.”
