Event Details
The 2026 TCS New York City Marathon runs up Fourth Avenue through Gowanus and Park Slope in Brooklyn Community Board 6 on Sunday, November 1. Fourth Avenue is closed to cars from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and crossings are at the NYPD's discretion. Runners enter CB6 at the south end of Fourth Avenue, at about course mile 6, and leave at Flatbush Avenue, at about mile 7.5. November 1 is also the last day of early voting, so plan for a site on your side of the avenue. The layered map of the route, every street closure, the start times with when each wave reaches Fourth Avenue, and the early voting sites is at bkcb6.app/marathon.
