Centers Health Care Donates $2500 To Renewal For Kidney Health
Leading Family of Skilled Nursing Facilities Gives to Brooklyn-Based Renewal To Help Families Through the Kidney Transplant System

At the Brooklyn Center For Renal Dialysis on Buffalo Avenue in Crown Heights, leadership from Brooklyn Center and their corporate entity, Centers Health Care, donated $2,500 to non-profit Brooklyn-based Renewal, an organization targeted to help families navigate through the complex kidney transplant system and patient follow-up. In addition to being a full-service 281-bed skilled nursing facility, the new Brooklyn Center location that opened in December of 2019, also provides a state-of-the-art renal dialysis department that's designed to fit the needs of people from all walks of life. The Center is equipped with clinical professionals to provide training to patients for home self dialysis, fitting their needs.
"It's truly our honor to give back to Renewal," said Jack Meisels, COO at Centers Dialysis Care and CEO of Quality Renal Consultants, LLC. "Their expertise is unmatchable when it comes to steering families the right way during the entire kidney disease process, in order for the patient to receive the best care possible. Together with Renewal's relationship with all of the top New York City hospitals' transplant and nephrology teams, what they offer our patients is tops in the field."
These offering were very attractive to the leadership at Renewal, a Borough Park full-spectrum nonprofit organization that helps families work through the often difficult process of a loved one needing dialysis, a kidney transplant, essentially working with people with all forms of kidney disease. The organization works with all top New York City transplant hospitals, offering education and guidance for families taking them through the entire process, including follow-through to make sure the patient receives the best kidney care possible.

"It is definitely an honor for us to receive this donation and to be recognized as one of the top kidney health organizations in New York," said AJ Gindi, Community Advocate with Renewal. "Our staff does miraculous work, saving many lives, and each patient is a great story within itself. We are blessed to be able to help facilitate these transplants and to work with Centers Health Care, saving lives one kidney at a time.”
