Crash With Cop Car On Ocean Pkwy Sends 3 To Hospital

BROOKLYN, NY — Two New York Police Department officers were involved in a car crash on Wednesday morning on Ocean Avenue, NYPD officials confirmed.

According to NYPD officials, two officers were traveling southbound on Ocean Parkway in an unmarked police car, turning left on Avenue C when a Mercedes traveling northbound on Ocean Parkway collided into it around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Both the police officers and the civilian driver were taken to local area hospitals in stable condition, officials said.

The Mercedes driver stayed on the scene, police said, and no arrests have been made. The incident is under investigation, NYPD said.
