Early Morning Fire In Brooklyn Junction Mall

BROOKLYN, NY — A fire broke out in the early morning hours on Wednesday at Brooklyn Junction, a mall in Flatbush, Fire Department officials said.

According to the FDNY, a blaze started on the first floor of 1608 Flatbush Ave., a three-story building.

FDNY officials said 60 firefighters and emergency personnel responded to the 911 call around 4:35 a.m. on Wednesday, and the fire was brought under control by 5:08 a.m.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire, and the cause of the flame is under investigation by the FDNY, officials said.
