Islamaphobin Gum Battles 'Unthinking Bigotry,' Manufacturers Say

Islamophobin Gum is now available on Amazon. "Take two and call a Muslim in the morning," directions instruct.

NEW YORK CITY -- Give the Islamaphobe in your life something to chew on. Islamaphobin, a sugar-free gum that purports to cure "blind intolerance and "unthinking bigotry," is officially on sale on Amazon just in time for the holiday season.

"My entire family is racist and believes all Muslims are terrorists destroying America along with all the gays and illegal immigrants," wrote Amazon reviewer Leslie Douglas.

"It only took 3 pieces of gum before I realized my entire upbringing is a lie. Yesterday I was able to stand in line next to a woman in a hijab at the grocery store without giving her a nasty look!"

"This gum really works," Douglas added. "I know what I'm putting in everyone's stocking this year for Christmas!!

The gum, manufactured by the Council of Islamic-American Relations, or CAIR, is actually just uniquely packaged sugar free gum, according to its disclaimer and spokesperson Ibrahim Hooper.

"Thanks to our president, we have Islamaphobia growing nation wide," Hooper said. "We thought it was a humorous way to push back."

The gum costs $1.99 a pack and can be shipped anywhere in the United States, according to its Amazon listing.

"Super fun as a talking piece to leave out on the end table," wrote another reviewer named Corey. "And not bad gum either."
