Man Admits To Beating Wife To Death In Brooklyn Home
The suspect was arraigned on Wednesday.
BROOKLYN, NY — A man accused of killing his wife inside their Brooklyn home has been arraigned.
Mauricio Granda, 47, admitted to prosecutors that he beat his wife to death with a tool.
Officers responded to a building on 79th Street near Third Ave. in Bay Ridge around 9:30 a.m. on Monday and found Maria Ines Granda, 59, with head trauma.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The city’s medical examiner determined that the woman died of blunt force trauma to the head.
