Man Attacked A Traffic Cop For Issuing A Summons On His BMW: NYPD
Police are searching for the suspect.

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are looking for a suspect who they say attacked a traffic agent on Wednesday after receiving a summons on his BMW, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, a 57-year-old NYPD traffic enforcement agent was on duty and in uniform when an unknown man approached him in an orange BMW at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the vicinity of Avenue U and East 8th Street in Gravesend.
The driver started arguing with the victim about the summons that the agent had recently issued him, before striking the victim several times in the face, officials said.

Then, the man fled in the orange BMW in an unknown direction, and the victim was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health with swelling in the face and lips in stable condition, cops said.
There have been no arrests yet and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
