Man Attacks Woman, Pushing Her Onto The L Train Tracks: NYPD
The victim was taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 62-year-old woman was shoved onto the train tracks at the Jefferson L train station early Thursday morning by an unknown man, New York Police Department officials said.
Just before 6 a.m. on Thursday, a man asked the woman for a lighter, the NYPD said.
Shortly after, an argument ensued and the man punched the victim and then pushed her onto the train tracks of the northbound L train, according to police.

She was rescued and was taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center with lacerations and swelling in her left foot, police said. Her condition is stable, NYPD said.
Police said the perpetrator fled the scene in an unknown direction, and no arrests have been made yet.
