Man Clings To Life After Shooting In Front Of Brooklyn Eatery: NYPD

The man was shot in the head, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A man is clinging to life after being shot in the head outside of an East New York restaurant just after midnight on Monday, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, a 35-year-old man was shot in the back of his head at 12:09 a.m. on Dec. 2, in front of 100 Jamaica Ave., which is a restaurant called Room 1Hundred right near Broadway Junction at the intersection of Marginal Street.

According to the New York Daily News, the shot was fired from a car, following a fight inside the nearby restaurant.

The victim was rushed to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

There are no arrests yet and the investigation is underway, police said.
