BROOKLYN, NY — Police are looking for a man who they say performed a lewd act on a subway in Downtown Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the police, a 28-year-old woman was sitting on a northbound 5 train approaching Borough Hall station around 1 p.m. when an unknown man approached her.

Police say that the man performed a sexual act before fleeing the station in an unknown direction.

Police say the suspect is the man pictured above. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

Police said that anyone with information about this incident can call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
