Man Robbed For $350 At Gunpoint On Sunset Park Subway: Police
The suspect is on the loose, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are looking for a man who they say robbed a victim at gunpoint for $350 on a subway car in Sunset Park last week, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, a 21-year-old man was sitting on a northbound N train approaching 59th Street station on Friday around 1 a.m. when an unknown man sat down next to him, displaying a gun and demanding cash.
After the perpetrator took $350, he exited the train station and ran off in an unknown direction, police said.

Police described the suspect as an approximately 5-foot-8 man with a dark complexion who weighs 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white sneakers, police said.
No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

Police said that anyone with information about this incident can call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
There have been 383 crimes in public transit in Brooklyn in 2024 so far, down from 387 last year at this time, according to NYPD's crime statistics.
