Victim ID'ed In Fatal Crown Heights Shooting

BROOKLYN, NY — A man named Kendall Friday was shot to death in Crown Heights early Wednesday morning, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to police, the 25-year-old victim was shot in the head near the intersection of Schenectady Avenue and St. Johns Place and transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County by emergency responders around 5 a.m., where he was pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests yet, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
