Man Shot And Killed On Brooklyn Street: NYPD

Police are investigating what led up to the deadly shooting.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 26-year-old man was shot and killed in Brooklyn late Saturday night, police said on Sunday.

The incident happened outside 134 Stockton St. in Bed-Stuy around 11 p.m.

Officers found the man, identified as Elquan Tillman, with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. The 26-year-old was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating what led up to the deadly shooting. A description of a possible shooter was not readily available.

No arrests have been made yet. An investigation remains ongoing.
