Manhunt Underway After Triple Stabbing In Brooklyn: NYPD

Authorities say a suspect stabbed two women and a man in Brownsville on Sunday afternoon, just before 1 p.m.

BROOKLYN, NY — Three people were stabbed in NYCHA housing in Brownsville on Sunday afternoon, and police are searching for the suspect, officials said.

The stabbings happened just before 1 p.m. Sunday near the corner of Dumont Avenue and Powell Street in Brownsville, police said.

A 25-year-old woman was stabbed in the abdomen, a 23-year-old man suffered wounds to the torso, and a 26-year-old woman was stabbed in the buttocks and back.

All three victims were taken to Brookdale and Kings County hospitals with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police added.

Police have not yet identified a motive in the attack as of Monday, and no arrests have been reported, officials said.
