BROOKLYN, NY — New York City Mayor Eric Adams just tested positive for Covid, according to Fabien Levy, the deputy mayor for communications.
Following the diagnosis, Adams canceled a town hall in Prospect Heights about the impact of Vanderbilt Avenue and Underhill Avenue Open Streets on businesses and neighbors.
This illness comes during a busy time for Adams.

Yesterday, he visited two different Brooklyn churches, Changing Lives Christian Center in Flatbush and the Power and Authority Evangelical Ministry in East New York, just days after the FBI raided the homes of two of his deputy mayors as part of a federal probe.
He will still be conducting city business this week, but virtually, Levy said.
