BROOKLYN, NY— Election results show Elaine E. Reid leading the race with 4.08 percent and 2,566 votes. Naomi N. Hopkins follows with 3.96 percent and 2,494 votes. Keith Carr holds 3.73 percent with 2,351 votes, and Felina Backer has 3.66 percent with 2,303 votes.

Simone A. Murray reports 3.23 percent with 2,036 votes, and Pamela Stephens records 3.12 percent with 1,965 votes. Rhea Ann Smith rounds out the leading group at 2.95 percent with 1,856 votes.

Election officials reported 67 of 67 election districts fully reporting. The count shows 62,960 total votes cast. Blank ballots account for 44.78 percent, totaling 28,192 votes. Void ballots account for 0.40 percent with 250 votes, and write-ins account for 0.13 percent with 79 votes.

No projected winner emerges as multiple candidates lead the race based on current totals.
