NYPD Seeks Suspects In Anti-Asian Hate Crime In Downtown Brooklyn

The group threw whipped cream on the victims, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — The New York City Police Department Hate Crime Task Force is looking for a group of perpetrators who attacked a couple unprovoked in Downtown Brooklyn, New York City Police Department officials said on Thursday.

According to police, four people approached a couple walking in front of 445 Albee Square on Oct. 19 around 10 p.m. and threw whipped cream on them while making anti-Asian remarks.

Then, the group ran away in an unknown direction, police said.
