One Dead In Brooklyn Queens Expressway Crash

BROOKLYN, NY — A 24-year-old motorcycle driver died in a crash with a dump truck on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway near the Fort Hamilton Parkway pedestrian overpass on Saturday afternoon.

The motorcyclist, Artem Polin, was traveling eastbound in the center lane when the two vehicles collided around 1 p.m.

The dump truck was also driving eastbound and the driver stayed at the scene after the crash.

Emergency responders transported Polin to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
