Pair Of Blue-Eyed Kittens Trapped In Brooklyn Rescued By NYPD
A photo shared by NYPD News showed a team of three officials working to remove the kittens from a bright-orange construction barrier.

BROOKLYN, NY — A pair of midnight-black, blue-eyed kittens were rescued in Brooklyn after becoming trapped inside a construction barrier in Shore Road Park, the New York City Police Department said in a tweet Friday.

Special Operations Officers were called to the scene to rescue the kittens and deliver them to a local animal shelter, the department wrote.

Other photos show one of the kittens wrapped in a blanket, the two kittens cuddling after their rescue, and two officers standing with the kittens in a carry crate and armfuls of tools used in the rescue.

"Another paw-sitive animal rescue," the NYPD said.
