Parents of 2012 NYC Babies: Last Chance to Apply for Pre-K
The application deadline was just extended, but it's approaching fast.

NEW YORK CITY, NY — Good news for parents of 2012 babies in NYC: You still have a few more days to get in your application for the upcoming fall season of the city's free pre-K program.
The original deadline was March 4. However, NYC Schools officials just extended the application deadline to midnight on Wednesday, March 9.

Pre-K For All is a free, full-day education that runs five days per week from September to June. Some half-day options are also available.
There are three ways of applying:

- Over the phone. Call (718) 935-2067 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- In person. A counselor at one of the city's 12 Family Welcome Centers, four of which are in Brooklyn, can help get you set up between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
