Pedestrian, 82, Killed in Bed-Stuy Car Crash
An older pedestrian was killed by a driver making a left turn on Marcy Avenue, NYPD said.

BED-STUY, NY — This Saturday at around 12 p.m near Quincy Street and Marcy Avenue, a driver crashed into 82-year-old Valentin Radames while making a left turn, the New York Police Department said.
Emergency responders took Radames to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the NYPD.
The operator, 22, was traveling eastbound on Quincy Street in his 2023 Ford Van and turning onto Marcy Avenue when he collided with the pedestrian. The operator of the vehicle stayed on scene, NYPD said.
