Person Struck By Subway Train In NYC

L train service has been suspended in both directions for part of the route as emergency teams respond.

NEW YORK — A person was struck by an MTA train Saturday night, officials said.

They were struck at Sixth Avenue station, officials said at 9:45 p.m. Saturday.

An NYPD spokesperson didn't have word on the person's condition.

L train service is suspended in both directions from Eighth Avenue and Bedford Avenue as emergency teams respond.

For service in Manhattan, take an E (Eighth Avenue) or F (Sixth Avenue) train at 14th Street. For service between First and Eighth Avenue, take an M14 bus.
