PT FOR HEROES - FREE Telehealth for doctors, nurses ETC.

Grass Roots effort to donate free TELEHEALTH to our medical heroes goes NATIONAL

How about a good deed and some good news?

We spoke to our friend and writer Diane Lilli in Montclair today and she sent us news about this amazing new grass roots movement started out of Astoria, NY and sponsored by Hands-On Diagnostics and Hands-On PT. Only a week into the initiative, PT FOR HEROES is just about national - with good reason.

"This is how the PT community can give back to our true heroes - every single person working with Coronavirus patients. Physical therapists (PT) , Occupational Therapists (OT) and Speech Therapists (SLP) can do something right now," she said. "We created PTforHeroes a little over a week ago. Our mission is to have physical therapists, OTs and SLPs sign up to offer free Telehealth services to doctors, nurses and all medical staff including EMTs etc. who are fighting on the front lines of the Pandemic."

Lilli said there are about 120 PTs offering our amazing medical heroes free Telehealth in almost 40 states by helping them with neck, shoulder, back and all kinds of pain via remote Telehealth.

"Imagine how stressed out your body and mind would be after working 8 - 12 hour shifts, dealing with life and death situations the entire time," she said. "It is amazing to me how perfectly suited all physical therapists are to handle this kind of Telehealth. The PT community is the most caring, authentic and amazing group I have known."
