Hayes was charged with vehicular assault, driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reckless driving, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest.
The yoga studio addressed the crash in a statement on Instagram, confirming the damage will postpone its long-awaited expansion.
"Last night, two vehicles crashed into the building that will soon be home to Noir Yoga's second studio in Bed-Stuy."
The studio said its immediate priority is ensuring the building is safe before opening its doors.
"Thankfully, we are focused on what matters most: safety, care, and making sure the space is fully assessed and repaired before we welcome our community inside."
The business said it had been preparing to open the location soon, but the crash forced a delay.
Despite the setback, Noir Yoga said it remains committed to opening the Bed-Stuy location after repairs are complete.
The studio also thanked supporters who reached out following the crash.
"Studio 2 is still coming."
