Shooting In Greenpoint Injures 6, NYPD Says
The shooting took place near Stewart Avenue and Cherry Street.

BROOKLYN, NY — Six people were shot in Greenpoint on Saturday around 2 a.m., New York City Police Department officials said.
The shooting, which took place near Stewart Avenue and Cherry Street, left an 18-year-old boy shot in the face, an 18-year-old boy shot in the ankle, an 18-year-old boy shot in the chest, a 20-year-old man shot in the left leg, a 20-year-old man shot in the back, and a 33-year-old man shot in the right ankle, according to NYPD officials.
All of the victims transported themselves to various hospitals in the area, including the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull and Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, authorities said.

All were listed in stable condition, the NYPD said.
Police say that no arrests have been made yet but that an investigation is underway.
