Skull And Bones Found Near Brooklyn Bridge Park

The NYPD said the remains, which could be human, were located in the rear of 55 Water Street in DUMBO.

BROOKLYN, NY — Early Monday morning, a parks enforcement officer discovered a skull and bones on the shore near Brooklyn Bridge Park, the New York Police Department said.

The NYPD said the remains were located in the rear of 55 Water Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

Though the remains look human, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct tests to confirm the species. The Chief Medical Examiner will also determine the age, race and gender of the remains.
