Smallville Star Allison Mack Pleads Guilty In NY Sex Cult Case
Allison Mack could face 40 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to racketeering charges in the Nxivm case, records show.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- Smallville star Allison Mack pleaded guilty Monday to racketeering charges for her connection with a notorious Albany sex cult, court records show.
Mack, 36, could face up to 40 years in prison for her involvement with Nxivm, which Brooklyn federal prosecutors allege operated as a secret slave organization with co-defendant Keith Raniere operating as the master.
Mack sobbed in Brooklyn federal court, where she pleaded guilty to extortion and forced labor, and blamed Raniere for encouraging her to own a slave and command Nxivm member to do her biddings, the New York Post reported.

“I am very sorry to my family and to the good people I hurt through my misguided adherence to Keith Raniere’s teachings,” Mack said. "I am very sorry for my role in this case."
Mack's fellow Nxivm leaders have been accused of enslaving women who were branded, kept on starvation diets and used by Raniere for sex, court records show.
