
BROOKLYN, NY — A gun went off in the Jay Street-Metrotech subway station on Monday afternoon, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, two groups of people were engaged in a dispute on the platform near the turnstiles when one pulled the trigger on a gun at 12:05 p.m.
Officers said no one was injured by the gunshot. Officers did not say how many people were involved in the incident.

No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
