Boy, 11, Dies In Potential Subway Surfing Incident In Park Slope

A young boy was killed by a subway car at the 4th Avenue-9th Street station, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — Police say that an 11-year-old boy was killed by a subway car in Park Slope at the 4th Avenue-9th Street G train station on Monday morning around 10 a.m.

Police said they believe the victim was subway surfing at the time of the incident. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation. The boy's name has not been released yet pending family notification.
