Two Sisters Shot Inside Brooklyn Building

BROOKLYN, NY — Two women were shot inside a Bedford-Stuyvesant building on Fulton Street late Thursday night, leaving one in critical condition, police said.

Officers responding to an assault call found a 21-year-old woman suffering multiple gunshot wounds and a 40-year-old woman shot in the abdomen.

The younger woman was transported to a hospital in critical condition, while the older woman’s injuries were reported as stable.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting.
