BROOKLYN, NY — Are you ready, Brooklyn? A new Whole Foods Market has arrived.
The high-end, health-focused grocer opened last week on the ground floor of a massive Grand Street apartment complex and plans to partner with several neighborhood organizations and brands, according to the company.
The 7,888-square-foot Market Daily store at 774 Grand Street, between Bushwick Avenue and Humboldt Street, is designed to “bring the freshest, high-quality ingredients to customers with a convenience that fits their fast-paced urban lifestyles,” according to a press release.

The market will feature the pricey but healthy fare it has built its reputation on, as well as local options like pesto from Gotham Greens, crème fraîche from Vermont Creamery and sliced bresaola from Brooklyn Cured.
Other offerings include an ample selection of fresh, seasonal produce, meat and seafood; prepared foods like sandwiches, pre-packed meals, and breads; supplements; plus a handpicked range of local specialties and 365 by Whole Foods Market brand products.

Whether residents are welcoming the arrival or reluctant about its impact, the store’s debut reflects the neighborhood’s rapid development — though the chain is supporting the community through food donations to City Harvest via its Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program, which helps food-rescue organizations deliver surplus food to high-need areas, and to Trinity Human Services across New York City.
The new Grand Street store is now open with daily hours from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Check weekly sales here.
