Woman Fatally Struck By Ambulance In NYC Hit-And-Run
The woman's identity has not been released pending family notification.
BROOKLYN, NY — A woman was struck and killed by an ambulance on a Brooklyn street Thursday morning, police said.
The incident happened on Avenue O and Ocean Avenue in Midwood around 6:40 a.m.
The 44-year-old woman was crossing the street when the ambulance made a left turn from Avenue O and struck her, police said.

The woman was taken to Maimonides Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the ambulance did not stay at the scene and drove after the crash.
