Woman Found Shot In Neck Inside Brooklyn Apartment, NYPD Reports
Investigators are piecing together what happened inside the building before the fatal shooting.
BROOKLYN, NY— A 24-year-old woman died after she was shot inside a Brooklyn apartment building late Tuesday, and investigators are trying to determine what led to the killing.
The NYPD responded to a report of a shooting at about 11:25 p.m. at 2817 Foster Ave. in Flatbush.
Inside the building, officers found a woman with a gunshot wound to her neck.

Emergency medical crews took her to Kings County Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police identified the victim as Tatiana Pettus.

Detectives had not announced any arrests by Wednesday, and are working to identify the person responsible.
