Woman Killed In Brooklyn Hit-And-Run Crash, Driver Still At Large

EMS pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

BROOKLYN, NY — A woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Brooklyn early Friday morning, police said.

The incident happened on Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brownsville around 6:50 a.m.

The woman was in the crosswalk when she was struck by a vehicle heading west on Pitkin Avenue, police said. The driver did not stop after the crash.
