Woman Slashed In Brooklyn Senior Building
Authorities found a man dead on the sidewalk with injuries from an apparent fall after a reported assault inside a senior housing complex.
BROOKLYN, NY — A woman was slashed inside a senior living building in Bushwick on Monday, and the suspected attacker was later found dead outside, police said.
Officers responded to Linden Grove Senior Residences just after 12:30 p.m. and found a 53-year-old woman with slash wounds to her head and right arm.
Emergency medical services transported the woman to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where officials said she is expected to recover.

Authorities said the suspected attacker was found unconscious and unresponsive on the sidewalk outside the building. He had injuries consistent with a fall from an elevated position, police said. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police said they could not confirm whether the man fell or jumped. The investigation remains ongoing.
