76-Year-Old East New York Woman Missing Since Oct. 16: NYPD

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — A 76-year-old woman from East New York has been missing since Sunday, police said.

Santa Mantos, pictured above, was last seen on Oct. 16 shortly after 2 p.m. walking east on Liberty Avenue away from Barbey Street.

Detectives describe Mantos as a Hispanic woman standing five-feet-three-inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair, and was last seen wearing a dark sweater with "Leaders HS" written on the front. She also had on blue jeans and black sneakers.

Anyone with information about Santa can confidentially report it using the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers website or by anonymously calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
