BROOKLYN, NY — A man was shot in the head near a deli in Brownsville early Monday morning.
The incident happened near 980 Rutland Road around 3:20 a.m.
A 27-year-old man was found with a gunshot to the head.
He was taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
What led up to the shooting is not known at this time.
An investigation remains ongoing.
